Woods? If you were talking to me I meant by a city. When the guard come out of the guardtower snipe them. Of course, you'd have to transport sniper rifles through another dimension to get them there, for avernum is a non-up to our time game.

Erika would be dead by that time. Hey, you got a problem with that? I find upper avernum cool. You can visit the surface anytime, make raids on the surface, all that crap, it'd be fun!

I'd prefer wiping out fort emergence and the nearby upper avernum towns, then living there. I could make a quick surface approach and raid nearby towns and travelers. It sounds like fun in my point of view.
