  1. Didn't the Queen say that one of her main regrets is that she hasn't managed to gain/conquer a new territory during the reign? This is a huge hint about what is gonna happen in the third game - we won't be dealing with a Vassal, but with a completely independent state.
  2. I also didn't have enough stone. Those are my resources by the end of the game and I wasn't able to build 3 breweries. I had 27 wood, 0 stone, 9 iron and 5 quicksilver. Guess Dhagans are really a bothersome bunch.
  3. Maybe a stupid question but are you sure you are trying to enter the right location? I mean, in the high underworld there is a snowy place on the NW and the Geld Nas lair (deep post Analace) on SW.
  4. Seems like I should replay it then. Does something depend on a difficulty level though? 160 Ro reputation to avoid Prova Krug fight with druids is one thing. Maybe it affects other interactions too.
  5. Wow, thanks a lot. Now I see why the queen doesn't like me - I offended Sutter as much as possible. A pity he and the queen have the same opinion on everything.
  6. In QW1 it was much easier to achieve good results, like you could place best possible (morally) vassals (Owen, Ahriel opposition and Brokk clan) and still have a good favor of queen. In QW 2 if you switch governors, your family will literally start to hate you a.k.a you are some kind of a clown and having other governors doesn't guarantee that provinces won't join the rebels. Personally I loved the second part of the series much more and I was really sad to read Jeff's words in the instructions where he says that this may be his last new game series. But I think I am satisfied with my ending. Merciful, have a good stance with Ro, provinces didn't join the rebellion (even though both of them attacked me on Prova Krug, it was funny when the druidess I killed there appeared in the ending as though she lived. A bug maybe?), switched both governors (and they handled the situation perfectly), supported sacrifices, but wasn't in favor of how women were treated in Low Draga (that's why theft ratings bothered me until the end - suffered penalties and wasn't able to build all breweries because of a lack of stone). BTW, I tried not going to the Prova Krug first and then both governors did fail me: Abelin had to run and Raasa Lawrita betrayed me. All in all, rebellion was crushed with minimum casualties, but Sutter and the queen consider me a clown. The only thing that upsets me is that I wasn't able to change the Low Dragan's tradition of treating women this way, because I didn't have a queen's favor. Not that I care, because Nisse's dreams still guarantee that my character will become a ruler. I wonder if it's possible to have good reputation of both Ro and the Queen though. Maybe not changing the governors could have given me that, but I am not sure.
  7. She is not mentioned in the ending or anywhere else further in the game, but this decision affects your stance in Low Draga regarding traditions and if you wanna change it or not. I think if you decided to change this long-standing status of women in the province and you have a large favor of queen, some work in this direction may be done. P.S. Really enjoyed this game, much more than the Conqueror. In contrast to the first game I really had a very difficult time making choices here. There are just no "good" or "bad" decisions. I could play such games for all eternity.
  8. Actually I don't think it would matter much, but I guess if incubus had only one turn, characters could evade more attacks and so would have more chances to survive.
  9. So I am close to finishing Avadon 3, previously completing Avadon 1 and 2 on torment difficulty. And I have never understood one type of enemies - incubus. I encountered a bunch of them near the tawon temple. This enemy, it maddens me, makes me crazy, my blood boils when I fight them and it's all simply because of one thing - they have 2 turns in one round. They are the only ones with whom I have such problems. I hated Gryffyth fight in Avadon 1 so much because of them and then I hated every encounter with them in Avadon 2. So here is the deal - imagine 6 incubus casting area spells, imagine when they do it 2 times because they have two turns and imagine they do it 4 times because they are under the effect of haste or battle frenzy! You literally have to survive 24 area spells. It's impossible. I just don't understand - why? Why do they have 2 turns in battle? It's plainly stupid and ridiculous as if they attack in the end of one round AND then attack in the beginning of the next one etc. After finishing all avadon and geneforge games (which both have a much better combat system) I am just frustrated because such injustice has never been encountered before. And these crazy bastards are resistant to MAGIC, OH SO COOL to fight them with shaman in the party which you need in order to heal so much damage every round. And I also don't understand why nobody has complained about them.
