The only thing I found annoy is having to empty my inventory to take shaper equipment in. It would be nice if it checked the junk bag for quest items

So as long as you don't turn a village/town hostile just going there restores all your health energy and essence(as long as it's not used in a creation). All useable item's in this game need to be drop in to the action bar including food. Your creations do not need food nor do you and are only usable on your self this game for some healing. For the baton you should just need to drag and drop it if your running in to problem you may lack the missile skill to use it.

Don't know if a note should be added that you can't tell Dayna that it was point less to keep the records if you do you don't get the quest and it becomes point less to get the shaper records
