The thing I love about G3 as opposed to G4 and G5 is that you have the choice to never be augmented. In G4 and G5 you're warped right from the beginning because of the Geneforge and everyone sees you as a freak. In G3 you have the choice to use the canisters or not and you can virtually remain a normal human, which I love.

If you could fast travel between islands without having to return to the docks each time G3 would be so much more bearable lol. Can't say I didn't enjoy G3 though, it's my 2nd favorite Geneforge game.

I thought Alwan's final upgraded weapon in G3 would've been his acid baton-like attack in G4, where he could attack at range. If that were the case, Alwan would've been a lot more optimal in G3.

Is it possible to beat the game completely relying on missiles, such as batons, javelins, and crystals? They're limited use weapons so are there enough missiles to completely beat the game?

Idk I exclusively use Fyora-Cryoa-Drayk-Drakon as a Guardian because they get 2 fire shaping off the bat. Shapers are just hella frail and it ain't my style. My style is my Guardian and 2 creations of my choosing being buffed by Mass Energize and Protection. Really quick and effective strategy tbh.

Yeah that's late game with the best gear infused with Golden Crystals so immortal is correct. I've never even played a Shaper playthrough before so I wouldn't know how powerful it is.
