Thanks - after Zhetron moved to the arena pit I rechecked the whole map and discovered it.

If you choose the last dialog option, you will have 1 or 2 turns time before she will build turrets - that way I reduced her health enough to kill her after she built the turrets without destroying any turret (normal difficulty). Your ranged characters can be placed in a corner where the fatiguing turret has not enough range to reach them. I don't think it's fair when dialog options can have such an effect - I only discovered this by accident when misclicking for my second try to win this fight.

My problem is near the end of the main story, so I'm using spoiler tags:

I'm not able to complete this quest. I cleared the arena pit (?) first, got a message in there that this place might be useful for someone (the dragon came in mind) and later talked to Svarl again. He gave me the quest, but there is no dialog option to complete the quest. I revisited the arena pit, but nothing happened, Svarl still has no other dialog options. Anything I could try?
