Okay, I got it. I don't know what the problem was but revisiting Khoth, Aydin and Erica triggered the brooch quest completed event. Maybe the problem was that I didn't click that particular dialog option when talking to Erica previously. The gamefaqs link you've sent me was very specific about that point.

I'm just about to finish the third spiderweb game I own. I sometimes got stuck and until now google never failed me but now I'm simply stumped.

So I'm standing at the royal spire with all 5 brooches(Ivory, Malachite, Platinum, Perl and Chalcedony) and I'm told that my journey was in vain. I don't know how to activate the teleporter. Neither Erica nor Aydin told me anything new or updated my quest log.

Any ideas?
