One more vote for adding keyboard movement keys, both in and out of combat (similar to Avernum). I prefer keyboard over mouse, partly to avoid aggravating carpal tunnel. It was even possible in Avernum to target mobs using keystrokes -- a nice touch (and surely easy to implement?).
