I like them a lot. Roots and Quintessence (both for BoE) are my favorites.
There are plenty for BoE - check out the top-rated scenarios on CSR and most will be this story-driven type of scenario.

Yes, in maybe a month for Mac.
-
If it's out in the open you get more people trying their hand at making geneforges and augmenting serviles and all that mess. Better to keep it with people who know what they're doing.
-
The GF4 version contain far more information and radically different POVs.
-
I don't think you can use the teleporter with only three brooches.
-
You should finish Avernum 4.
-
Kelandon's 10 should be a 9 if you couldn't tell.
-
Didn't we already know that?
-
Now there are lamps and candles!
-
I tend to name them after foreign soccer players. Tugay, Kerimoglu, Sjaak, Henok, Beto, Hagi, Hristo.

6. I'm pretty sure this is part of the "Kill Hawthorne" quest.
-
Are you kidding? Geneforge 1 had the best out of the bunch by far!

Oliver is the traveling salesman you meet in basically every big town. You need to tell him in Silvar that the coast is clear, or else he won't come down. I think.

My favorite battle with drakes is in Krizsan Province in Exile III. You get a drake lord and a bunch of giant lizards on your side against a boatload of drakes and ice drakes.
-
Divine Warrior! Haste yourself, slow the drakes!
-
Agreed. But that's always what you think after beta-testing the first 1/4 or 1/5 of the game
-
When you "talk" to the artilas and rogue creations, they don't understand you. You're using your shaper mind powers to control them.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if there were a split between Drakon and human rebellions - they're after different things. I have a hard time distinguishing Drakons from hardline Shapers.
-
That would be nice, if ezboard didn't persist in unlogging people every 10 minutes.
EDIT: And Jewels, have you tried Drizzt?
-
Yeah, the first altered beast took a long time and lots of potions + Divine Aid to kill, and the big queen spawner thing was difficult as well.
-
The damage system is different for Avernum 2 - a greatsword won't really do much more damage than a waveblade, but in A3/BoA/A4 it will.
-
VoDT shouldn't have been much of a problem, since I beat it with a level 1 singleton (Divinely Touched and Fast on Feet) and ended up around level 17/18.

I like this Imby - keep up the good work!
It just might be enough to get me back into BoE.
I need advice

The skills I actually invest in:
Strength
Intelligence
Melee
Quick Action
Parry
Blessing Magic
Mental Magic
Mechanics
Leadership
Healing Craft (a little)
Spellcraft (a little)
A little bless, haste, essence shield, daze, and go to town hacking away.
EDIT: This is not helpful to you in any way because this is for G4 and a class that doesn't exist in the previous games
And I can't wait to get involved in those big strategy conversations we're bound to have.
