?????? I am certainly not incorrect the tweet is still there for everyone to see.
There may have been some separate incident involving the original, but jeffs tweet is clearly in response to resurrection.
Didn't Jeff say that in response to someone offering Nethergate Resurrection and not the original Nethergate?
Apparently it all started when someone tweeted him something like "I just bought nethergate resurrection and its already abandonware", so it's hard to say if Jeff is willing to release the original version of it unless someone asks him about the right version.
Jeff should have expanded on it further I think. If you keep it for too long your hair starts falling out and you get a -30% stats disease, and then later on you get a -50% stats disease that can only be cured by completing a quest to find a hermit who can give you chemotherapy.
I've just relocated for a new job so I can't right now. The last one looked really good though. The weakest part of Jeffs games is usually the balancing so it's great to see that improved upon.
Did making a remix for Avernum 2 make you reconsider anything you did the for Avernum 1 remix?
I do miss death, but I don't miss items dropping all over the floor.
I'd like it if in modes above normal, when you die you need to use a scroll or healer to resurrect the guy - but when he dies his items stay on his person.
I'm sure it's possible to edit your party location to put them to the other side to see if anything is actually there. If it's there to taunt people there won't be anything on the other side.
Do any of the games hint at what happened to the great heros?
Assassinated by the empire? Or bodies found in a dungeon with a hint that it could be them?
Is there massive spellpoint inflation compared to Jeff's past games? I never seem to run out of energy and i'm pretty sure I had to manage my energy better in past games. If so I guess that contributes to magical efficiency being weak.
I really liked that spell. You could use it to steal spellpoints from enemies, and whoever ran out of spellpoints first was dumbfounded. How likely you were to win the duel depended on your intelligence and your target's intelligence.
Please consider adding romance to geneforge if you remake it.
There should be the option to see your creations as equals. They fight harder the more you look after them and they begin to love you.
Maybe there can be a marriage system where you have a permanent bond with one favorite creation until it dies. If you marry a thad for example he will jump in front of ranged attacks that would hit you and maybe if you get knocked unconcious an intelligent creation would perform CPR and bring you back if they manage to finish the battle on their own.
