Will he be making any new games? I'm really surprised he has had no updates in almost a year! I've been playing since like 5th grade/97/exile 3, so this makes me a sad panda.

How do you open the wax book? Is it an arcane lore issue? I thought my group had a ton of arcane lore...

Does this not bug anyone else? I have loved playing these games since 1997 (5th grade!). I enjoy each game but am disappointed that the story line hasn't changed since 5th grade. At least it's a great story.

maybe I'm lazy...but after I try a few times and fail, I throw some cheat codes in every round and I get through OK. I guess that has been my strategy since exile 3!

I started with exile III in 5th grade! I'm guessing that was what, like 1997? Geneforge 5 was the first of that series I bought too. I guess I'm more of an exile/avernum/nethergate type of guy. Remember when you had to type in stuff when talking to people? I look foreward to these games every year.

I found one! Stoneworks - the room where you defeat the Guardian. sadly, there is no big reward for finding the switch, just some small trinkets -Morgan

I've been an avid fan since exile 3...and so far I'm very dissapointed... I love the massive maps and the engine of exile 3! So far I really dont like how the screen does not keep your group in the center, it shifts them to the center when they get near the edge, which makes me feel like I'm gonna end up getting sick from all the jagged movement. The mouse moves slowly when the inventory box is open (bug?) I'm VERY dissapointed that there is no character editor, I used the hell out of that thing in every single version of exile/avernum/nethergate, even if it was just to heal my group or give them money. I dont like the idea of using "cheats" but I guess I'll have to. Why is there no money cheat? this seems like a /huge/ change from all the other avernums. and so far, I dont think I like it. I havent been outside the town yet, and if it's not the same experience of the older games I'll be quite sad. there is no defend option when in battle... I've loved all the games so far...this one dissapoints me, it's too much like geneforge, which I didnt much like... morgan

you're telling me that this version of exile/avernum has no character editor!? I've used the editor for many reasons since I found out about spidweb and avernum 3 back when i was in like 4th grade...-.- I cant believe theres no money cheat...character editor is so much more useful than "cheats"
