  1. I hate the Shareware Demon. He's immune to all my weapons, except my long sword of Registration Code +3.
  2. I'm more of a do-anything-to-get-ahead, power-hungry-adventurer myself, though I dont like using the unlimited item resellers, it's too cheesy.
  3. I think you need 50 reputation before she sells anything to you.
  4. It's fun stealing from them though. But, yeah, the treasure isnt much.
  5. Fort Dalicaus? What portculli? Do you mean the slith fort out on the lake, west of Fort Dranlon?
  6. Oops, guess I should probably train a few more levels in Windows Operating System lore. Really, why would anybody order Homeland? I mean, the demos boring enough, I cant imagine what the full game would be like. And when I said 'older games', I wasnt talking about Avernum, I was refering to stuff like Homeland, Oceanboud, Lost Souls, you know, the non-spiderweb games that stunk.
  7. I bet this is a record for posts about a Homeland topic.
  8. I like taking out the Anama, then attacking all the major cities and using all the loot to buy knowledge brew ingredients.
  9. I doubt Homeland does though. Really, go to the Spiderweb Software main page, go to our games, and look at the Homeland section, it says it requires one of the earlier forms of Windows. Im sure his problem is that he's running it on XP. I wonder, how many people have actually ordered Homeland?
  10. You actually ordered that game? Wow. Well, Im not exactly sure, but I think some of the older Spiderweb games dont always work that well, or hardly at all, on Windows XP. I just checked the little section that Homeland has at Spiderwebs website, and it says that it only works on Windows 95/98/NT. That might be why it crashes.
  11. Its ok, I probably havnt really missed anything.
  12. No, you can definetly buy it in A1 and A3. Not sure about A2, but definetly the other two games.
  13. Thanks. No, no specific questions, I just wanted to check a map to see if I'd missed anything.
  14. In Avernum 3, you can learn it from Meena, after you finish Jeds quest. She moves from town to town on Bigail.
  15. Yeah, it is a pretty weird name, I dont know why he chose that instead of leaving it as Jordan. He probably just pulled it out of thin air.
  16. No, it's not that, something different. Like stupid newbie man pointed out, you can spot it on your map, and on the annotated maps. I would guess that its a design accident, but it's too easy to spot, so I cant help but think that its got some purpose.
  17. I was wondering, does anybody know where I can find annotated maps for Geneforge 2?
  18. Does anybody have or know where there might be some annotated maps for geneforge?
  19. What portal? The one in the cell block? You should'nt need to go through that one again, just re-enter the Keep of Tinraya, and make your way back to the crystal soul hall the way you did when you first went there. And, actually, you dont even really need to fight them. If you've got the right key when you where in there the first time, you aught to be able to bypass that room altogether.
  20. Well, I'm not sure how you can get back to them, I dont deal with the character editor much. But to defeat the four crystal souls, you need a thought crystal, which you can get from the bunker in New Formello. First, you need access to the bunker, which you can get by talking to Sandra in either Sharimik, or Lorelli. She'll tell you to talk to Commander Johnson in Fort Emergence, who will tell you the password for the bunker. Then, to get the people in the bunker to make the thought crystal for you, you need to have evidence that the vahnahtai created the plagues on the surface.
  21. You also get a nice point of magery, which is worth the price for getting in, I'd say.
  22. Yeah, I know, I checked the Annotated Maps also, but I mean, the room in Erikas Tower, Sulfras's treasure area, places like that, they had a purpose. Whys the place im talking about there?
  23. Something I've been wondering for quite a while. In A1, on the honeycomb map, in the way bottom right corner, theres what seems to be a completley unreachable passageway. Has anybody ever found a way there? Is there anything interessting there? Or did Jeff just put it there by accident, or to mess with curious players like me?
