Thanks for all the answers.

Why not? As Randomizer said, that's a pretty normal thing to do.
Different classes give me more variety in skills to use in combat and gear allocation. Maybe it's just a personal preference.
As far as i understand Tinkermages are op while sorcerers are weak? Is that correct? Assuming i will play on normal difficulty how would You rate classes from strongest to weakest?
Also. Does lockpicking stack between characters and how many points is max value needed?

Hi. I'm planning to play this game after i finish Avernum:EFTP so i have some questions regarding henchmen.
Can good people of this forum, list all the companions that are available in this game? Something like:
Name: x
Gender: m/f
Class: x
Available: early/late/after a quest
Personality: Funny/[censored]/heroic/squirellrapist
Will quit party if: You betray Avadon/wash redbeards beard/steal [censored]
That way i can make informed decision about what class i want to play. I do not want to pick a class and later discover that my favorite henchmen has the same class as i do

Thank You all, thats all i wanted to know.

How many points can i put in one skill? (other than spell skills). Is it 10 + Training or 10 total? In other words if i put 10 points in "melee weapons" will i be able to train it above 10? Also, how many times can i train one skill?

Thanks for all the replies. Today i can finally start to play

Does "Nimble fingers" trait stack more than 2 times? if i put one level of this on each character will i have total of 4 points in tool use?
Also i hanged my build a little bit. Priest and mage stay the same. But my warriors will both use dual wielding and will both have 8 points in priest magic. Should i give any priest magic to my mage or 3 healers is enought?

As far as i understand healing and buffing spells do not scale with INT. Is it viable to replace one "Caster priest" with 2 "fighter priests"? So i bump STR on both of them instead of INT and send them into melee? Or maybe one fighter and one archer priest?
Also how much STR do i need, to use heaviest armor, polearm and melee weapon in this game? Weapon list in strategy section does not have this information
