Two days after installing Geneforge 2 on OS 8.6, I was forced to reformat the harddisk so I though I could just as well give the OS X 10.2.3 CDs a go at the Rev B iMac.
I re-installed Geneforge 2 and copied the backed up preference file into the Preferences folder. The game appears to run a tiny bit slower and, which is the reason for posting here, the esc key no longer pauses the game, instead, it pops up the Geneforge 2 file dialog box. Consequently, I can't cmd-tab through the other running applications any longer.
Is this a bug?
How to open the gate in Krya's refuge?

There's a gate in Krya's refuge which I can't open even after chanting madly what's in the book on the pedestal down there. Did I miss something?
