Thanks. Different spells isn't a bad thing. Can keep the game fresh while still playing the same story line.

I have actually just started with Avadon first. Not sure if that was the right thing to do.. but I am enjoying myself so far.

I actually already own them all. I played Eschalon a while back and went on a buying spree. Just need to decide which to play. I now see there is an ipad verson. UGH! :-)

If I start with Escape From The Pit, I assume the story would continue with the older 2 still (If its too good and I can't wait for the remake)? I would just have to get use to the older engine?

Good to now. Now I just need to decide if I should start with 1 or Pit.

Just trying to understand where to start with Avernum and unable to find it in the FAQs or quickly on the forums here.

I understand that Escape From The Pit is a remake of the original. Does that include the original 1-6 and Blades of Avernum?
