Ineffable Wingbolt Dahak Posted November 24, 2008 Share Posted November 24, 2008 When running GF5 I notice that I cannot tab out to another program or switch to another desktop. However other programs that interrupt gameplay will cause GF5 to bring up the quit dialog box and prompt me to save. Either option I choose will then see the game quit. Is this supposed to happen? Well-Actually War Trall Spidweb Posted November 24, 2008 Share Posted November 24, 2008 OpenGL in full screen mode takes up the whole system. To be able to switch to other applications, you need to play in windowed mode. I'm afraid there's nothing I can do about this one. For some reason, your other applications are telling Geneforge 5 that it needs to quit. I'm really not sure why that would be happening. Exactly what applications are doing the interrupting? It's one of the ones Dahak is running. —Alorael, who has just been playing in windowed mode. You get a big window and you can still access other programs. It's a fine solution.
