Garrulous Glaahk Major
Quote: Do the shapers have the ability to shape plants? I mean beyond the turrets. Yes, it says that they do in Geneforge 2. In mebab I think it talks about their plants were made to produce too fast. Here it is: text2 = "These crops look like they have been made by the Shapers here to grow very very quickly. Shapers should know better ... it was discovered long ago that making crops that grow too quickly destroys the soil and causes great harm in the long run.";
Kyshakk Koan Nick Ringer
I would use my Shaper powers to mark my territory with big fungi. (not a very significant contribution to the thread)
Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
I believe the automatic doors work by specially shaped plants inside them as well.

Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
A better idea would be the Return of the Sholai, where the survivors of Sucia Island in GF1 make a boat and return to their homeland to tell of what happened. Now years after GF4 and the war between the Loyalists and the Rebels, they're back to gain power.

You would have to hear how the entire saga turns out, and it would interfere with the main storyline. A better idea is to make "Blades of Geneforge". You could all make scenarios with your ideas, and it wouldn't screw with the storyline. Also, what survivors? I'm pretty sure they all were killed when the Shapers came in. Magnificent Ornk Kelandon
I just got a mod alert from someone unidentifiable — Freeman Ryan? — that said the following about ADoS's post in this thread: Quote: this man is adverising and advertising to porn Well, whoever you are, have no fear. If you click on that link, you go to Polaris, which is a Spiderweb satellite board (and therefore permissible to advertise) and is family-friendly (no porn). And seriously, dude, do try to use a little common sense and excercise some fact-checking before you hit that Report Post button, please. Easygoing Eyebeast VCH
What a Tool. I hadn't noticed that report post button until you just mentioned it.

Magnificent Ornk Student of Trinity
There seems to be a sort of Catch-22 here.
Kyshakk Koan Nick Ringer
We'll just have to throw rocks at them. I'm okay with "Blades of Geneforge." Kind of a bastardization but it'd help some of us exert creative needs.
