Fledgling Fyora tl1942
As per the title, does a reduction in hit chance (eg via bracers) affect the hit chance of a spell, like Firebolt?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Yes, hit chance bonuses and negatives apply, however spells start with a higher base chance than physical weapons. The main problem for casting magic spells is that too many negative to hit chances from armor mean that you can't cast spells. I'm trying to find a game mechanics analysis for the remakes. tl1942
Fledgling Fyora tl1942
Very helpful, thanks! I've been equipping armor on my mage and wondering what the drawbacks might be...at the same time, I've been leaving my archer with very little/light armor to maximize hit chance. Looks like I'll be cutting back a bit on armor for the mage. Will try to find the sweet spot.
