Each country has two factions you can join. You can play both sides until ordering the Generals to advance.
If playing both sides, deal with the Ahriel Watchers first; if you kill Peadar, they won't let you up unless you join them.
To build everything without a deficit, ally with King Borgen, or the Mascha and declare the Vol or the Ukat as Favored.
To do Macaula's task in Charme, tell Uka, Volus, and Arra that they don't speak like people from their countries.
There are beds in the northwest and northeast buildings of Criydae you can rest in after reaching the endgame.
