Once my live-in help told me he was around, I went to the garden room & statue room--nada--and just by instinct hit the "u" button in the latter. He's standing behind a statue, and if you didn't know to use the "u" button, you would likely never have seen him! Now I have a great sword For some reason, I was expecting the 2-3 fights in the mansion before I ever came across him, but I'm glad I did, b/c that sword's a nice upgrade.
