Avernum 3: RW - 2 things that drive me crazy

1. No day/time counter.

Yes, I know a time counter might not be useful to some, however I am pedantic about how I use my time in game (not in real life).

 

2. The tutorial messages.

Everytime a character dies (yes, I am a save scummer) it displays the dialog on resurrection if I am not quick enough on the double tap F4.

I played through all the Jeff's previous games, I do not need a tutorial. Where did that option go (turn off tutorial messages)?

 

3. (Yes I know I said 2): Anyway to keep doors always open, once opened?

#2 it should only display the first time anyone dies (same with the first time poisoned/blessed/charmed/etc).  After that the fight should just go on the next time someone dies (no popup explaining things).  If you're reloading to a save before the first time anyone dies (well, knocked out technically - death only arrives if everyone is below zero hp) then the popups will continue (although the 'death' may be recorded in the statistics out on the main page).

 

/1 the world map can be seen with the "W" shortcut.  Day timer is in the upper left
