Seasoned Roamer Gavindale Marchovia
Is there some sort of strategy or guidelines I should follow with utilizing the upgrading orbs? I mean, like focusing more on weapons, or armor, etc?
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
you can use orbs on nearly all equipment so its just decision to have more protection (armors) and against what (acid, fire, elemental, magic, physical, etc) and more damage (mostly weapons) and what dmg (pretty much same as in protection case) and also increase critical chances (usefullness is debatable), only amount of orbs and 1 enchantment per item restricts. Seasoned Roamer Gavindale Marchovia
Two more questions - first, I have come across two people in Avadon that can infuse orbs on equipment - in Castle Avadon and in Castle V. (I dont recall the exact name, sorry) - does it matter whom I go to for infusing orbs into equipment? And is there a way to know what orbs are more powerful than others? Golden Crystals are always good for anybody and should be saved for equipment you expect to keep around for a long time. Dexterity and evasion bonuses are good for Dexterity-based characters in Avadon 1, but they're not as good in the sequels. Most other enhancements are filler. I also like to give Int-boosting orbs to my spell casters.
Seasoned Roamer Gavindale Marchovia
Can anyone tell me how to obtain the Trial of the Drake map/location? And I was told to infiltrate a tower in Avadon castle, I went to the closest tower to Miranda, but nothing was there. And I can't find Spiridon - he is not in his cell. Am I missing something? Seasoned Roamer Gavindale Marchovia
Just as a heads up, I finished the quest with Spiridon. I acted on a whim and found the solution. I went to capture Carsta'arl, but after a quick battle, he wraps himself in mist and exited the room and through a closed gate in his castle. I searched around but did not find a way to open that gate. Any thoughts? Second, I had asked about Nathalie's quest - I was looking for the map to where she is, but I did a little in game research and found that she left me a message near the Beraza Pits. I can't find where that message is. Can someone help me?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Carsta'arl can be found by exploring and lots of fighting with his minions. It's not a straight path with I believe you having to change levels a few times. Nathalie's message is in the chamber where you first fought the drake. It's been awhile since I played that game.
