Magnificent Ornk Aran
THOMASINA: When you stir your rice pudding, Septimus, the spoonful of jam spreads itself round making red trails like the picture of a meteor in my astronomical atlas. But if you need stir backward, the jam will not come together again. Indeed, the pudding does not notice and continues to turn pink just as before. Do you think this odd? SEPTIMUS: No. THOMASINA: Well, I do. You cannot stir things apart. Technically you just need to stir hard enough; that's how a centrifuge works. Hatchling Cockatrice Slawbug
In further context, she's talking about returning the jam to its pre-stirring state, not just separating the ingredients.
Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
I'm sorry to hear you're unwell, Harehunter. I have a sinus infecton and have been advised to rest. I expect it will be a simple matter to put your site up in a couple minutes and what just fell off the bottom of my chair
Well-Actually War Trall Harehunter
A mis-understanding, ADoS. I am quite well and responding well to the Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) I was just describing my Fear of Pakinson's before having been diagnosed with it.. Well-Actually War Trall Harehunter
i mean what could be more gruesome, being killed by a ravenous bear, or not dieing, doomed to a living hell.
Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
Well, I said EATEN by a bear, not just killed, as people have been saying. That adds another layer of complexity. http://www.almightywebsite.com/awos/hhh/ I don't know why it says "awos". That is the directory on the server in which I keep The Almighty Website of Stuff and it's not meant to be visible in the URL. When I uploaded HHH, it just kind of appended that to it. How can I fix that? All the links are broken as a result.
Well-Actually War Trall The Ratt
I think I would like to be eaten by a dragon. The only one eaten by a dragon. Why did the dragon eat that guy? Where did the dragon go?
Well-Actually War Trall Harehunter
ADoS, I suspect there is a <base> tag somewhere in your "awos" section. This effects all relative links to begin their relative addressing from that point. I think if you add a line like this <base href="http://www.almightyw...e.com/awos/hhh/" target="_blank"> to the <Head> section of the HHH page It might fix the problem. You should have sent me PM. I would have responded sooner.
Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
I still can't get it working.
Kyshakk Koan Kennedy
The best way for me would be to valiantly sacrifice myself to save others, The more virtuous the people being saved the better. Though that may violate the choosing the time of death rule.
Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
It would violate the "no taking deliberate action" rule.
