Garrulous Glaahk Brainless Void
Dont you guys think it would be awesome if spidweb games will be remade in the dawn of gaming in Virtual Reality? Like exploring Avernum, or the lands of Terrestia with a real body, holding a real sword and stick it in a giant's leg, pocketing items when no one sees you, and so much more. Of course big problems will arise here. Like who will be remaking it if VR will come too far away in the future, because hey, lets face it, we are getting older and we will all die eventually and Jeff isnt exempted either. The least we want is that all of these great games here will just die along with us and be part of history. Well, enough about dying and such stuff coz Im sure most of us want to live and see this happen in our lifetime. And Im sorry for watching too much SAO, lol. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
I was looking to see if they ever posted their webstrip online about playing a VR game. It gets real funny at the end when the spiders attack.
Garrulous Glaahk Nephil Thief
... yeaaaah. That sounds more than a bit icky. I think I'll stick with the minimally bloody 2D tile-based gameplay, thanks.
Unflappable Drayk ĐªгŦĦ Єяŋϊε
VR belongs to massive companies with huge staff that can handle the insane amount of coding needed for immersive gaming, not one guy in his basement. First VR game will probably be World of Warcraft or Oblivion. Actually it is more likely to be Madden or any other sport game. adc.
Understated Ur-Drakon Sudanna
Meh. Never been interested in VR. Not for Tevildo's reason, just was never sure what the appeal would be. There are a lot more things preventing videogames from appearing as real places than the fact that they appear on a screen. Especially for Jeff's relatively small, budget, mechanically abstracted, turn-based games. Their appeal lies firmly elsewhere. I mean. How much time do you really wanna spend looking these guys in the face.

This is why Im suggesting that maybe Jeff should consider selling the rights for remaking his games to better funded companies at least before he retires. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
I think Jeff has already tried to sell his company so he could retire.
Magnificent Ornk Swimmin' Salmon
Wasn't there a Warehouse 13/Eureka episode about this? I don't think it'll work out all that well, artifact or not.
Kyshakk Koan Juan Carlo
It would only be awesome if the VR versions reused all the same sprites that the games have been using for the past 15 years.....and you know they would. Like, think how cool it would be to finally get to hold pileofbricks.bmp or inkwell.bmp in your hands!

Garrulous Glaahk Wizard Orcasus
If he ever sells his company I love would to see it sold to the creators of Dragon age series (origin,2 and inquisition) Can you imagine how for an example a shaper would look?
