Fledgling Fyora Slypn
The ones in the Beast's woods across the river. Do I have to kill them? They're clearly bespelled. Can I break the spell somehow or do they have to die? It hardly looks good for us to have murdered a bunch of villagers with the tension in the country. Even if it is almost certainly that mage's fault.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Too bad you have to kill them all and loot the bodies. There isn't anything else you can do to them. But as a Hand you are the law. Welcome to Spiderweb Software. Please leave your sanity at the door. Right next to your conscience.
Fledgling Fyora Slypn
This is almost as bad as the eggs in Avernum. *sighs* Edit: And they don't exactly have much worth taking in their pockets. One health potion and a jug of cure.
Garrulous Glaahk Davies
Sure there is. Equip one member of your team with the Rod of Attraction. Send that teammate off to the side, and have him or her use the Rod to pull the Charmed Khemerians out of your way. Then send the two other party members to the entrance to the Beast's lair, and wait for the Khemerians to kill your party member. Exit combat. The sacrificed party member will respawn at your side. Enter the Beast's lair, and you've avoided killing the Charmed Khemerians. When you exit the Beast's Lair, remember to go off to the east side of the map.
