Garrulous Glaahk Meri20098
How do you get through the corruption core? I seem to keep getting ambushed by monsters with no way out. Is there something I'm forgetting or missing? I've looked everywhere for an answer and found nothing
Magnificent Ornk Kelandon
Is there something I'm forgetting or missing? It's hard to know if there's something that you're forgetting or missing without knowing what you've done. Generally avoid walking along the uneven ground, and you should encounter only the placed monsters. But there are several sets of relatively tricky battles. Where specifically are you? Garrulous Glaahk Meri20098
I'm just at the start of the Corruption core. I should've been more clear. Is there a trick or someway to tell which ground is safe to walk on? When the monsters rise out of the ground in endless droves it's like they never stop. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
The uneven ground that you shouldn't walk on has a darken border and can cross over paths. I recommend saving often until you can easily tell. For instance if you head east from the entrance you soon reach uneven ground. The endless monsters are there to force you into a path. The path you need to take involves going north and then northwest. You have to go underground and back to the surface a few times and face fixed encounters. There are a few optional ones if you want some good loot.
