The path seems to be: head north to the very top of the map (avoiding the magic trap that is just before the top of map) turn right, and then back down to the bottom of the map. So at the top "D" on the map, you should be able to push button to open tunnel that allows you to go back south to get to the gazer. When button is pushed, I get grinding sound, but tunnel doesn't open. Am I missing something? Thanks! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The top one opens a path to the south that you don't want and the south one opens the one that lets you go east to the path south into the hideout.
