By "bad writer", do yoou mean that you have poor grammar, spelling and technical skills, or do you mean you are bad at thinking up an interesting plot and characters? The first can be surmounted by getting some proofreaders and/or a co-writer to help out, but the second... well... not so much.

First off, where are you from?

How is that relevant?

EDIT: <_<

If he is not english, it may hinder his (or her) ability to write properly, right?

Fleshing out the details and writing realistic dialogue with unique voices for different characters.

I suggest you take some time to read as many works on your intended genre before you start writing.

Being a bad writer hasn't stopped a number of other scenario designers. Just create a world with a problem that needs solving and that a small group of four people could, with some beating up of bad guys, solve.

You can always be like Dinti and make the plot purposely bad in a way that makes it funny.

I've made three of those, though whether or not they're funny is debatable.

Yeah, same. :/ Sorry, OP. No advice from us two.

Oh, they're plenty funny.

The solution is clear: Jerakeen, Nikki, and Enraged Slith need to combine, Voltron-style, into the ultimate scenario designer.

Alternatively, Enraged Slith can skip on the actual scenarios and just publish his images directly (thanks again for the cows, by the way).

Fleshing out the details and writing realistic dialogue with unique voices for different characters.

One thing that I like to do is that I think of real life people I know, listen to how they talk and then use those as templates for different characters in game. Maybe someone you know has a weird sense of humour, maybe a specific word they use unintentionally and subconsciously. Maybe someone has an exploding, fast-paced temperament, talking and switching between topics faster than you can keep up. The surrounding world, for me personally, is an endless well of inspiration when I write characters.

As for fleshing out details, just have shamelessly a look at what Jeff has written in his special events for Valley of Dying Things, for example. How does he describe the surroundings, settings, etc. Watch and mimic, learn that way but also in the same time keep your personal touch to it.

Hope this helps!
