Avadon: The Black Fortress - Uncompletable Quests?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

First post but really enjoying the game.

As a bit of a completionist i'm having a few problems.

First I picked up a quest "The Wayfarer" and in typical style before i even visited the dragon or anything started to pick the locks of some rooms, searched Ryozo's desk and found "nothing".

I also missed the quest Theras papers, but had done the warrens and searched the desk.....so after completing the warrens, headed back, got this quest and thought, i better go back and check the desk again.

Neither of these quests appear to be completable anymore with the quest text telling me there is basically nothing of interest in either desk.

I have obviously searched them before performing some kind of pre-requisite, in Theras case I didnt have the quest and in Ryozo's i went on a bit of a lockpicking spree (i level lockpicking high early on).

Any ideas what i can do, these quests are sitting in my quest list and i cant remove or restart them?

Ignore the Ryozo bit solved that. Thera also accepted the fact I had the papers despite the fact it told me there was nothing there. Problem solved, i guess just keep trying :)

Kelandon

Ryozo's stuff isn't in his room. It's in the dragon's records hall (for which, if you're having trouble getting in, see here).

For Thera, you do need the quest first, but you can go back and find the right desk and get the papers much later. You should be able to go back to the warrens now and search a desk (it's on the top floor, not particularly deep in, just to the west of the main entry gates).

Thanks for the reply, yeah i progressed a bit and solved the Ryozo information section. Thera I went back and despite the message still saying there was nothing there it worked in the dialogue with her later. Again thanks for the reply, guess you just need to persevere :)
