Oops, sorry, Avernites I'm playing Avernum 5, and am having trouble finding the way onto the island with the boat in the Azure Gallery. I have been using "u" repeatedly when underground, and have found this one area with two gates that are closed and the Shock Sentinels, I just can't find a way in! Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer Posted August 11, 2013 Share Posted August 11, 2013 I'm pretty sure you need to go underground from the north side of the river near the island. The path goes roughly clockwise to reach the ladder up to the boat island. I think there is one secret door. Harehunter's map for the lower level looks incomplete for that area. For future Avernum 5 adventurers, the secret way is through Corrado's claim, fight the rats & then explore the tunnels & you'll find a mini secret room filled with crystals, and then to the south you'll find the room with the ladder onto the island.
