Magnificent Ornk Student of Trinity
Alcoholic beverages have been promoting silly behavior for thousands of years. Ponies are rookies. The Reverend
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Your beer goggles might be working too well. I got really thick lenses in my glasses. Of course looking at the world makes me want to take them off.
Magnificent Ornk nikki.
I'm not complaining, just stating sort of a fact. (Also you do realize you just gave the pony people an invitation to hijack the thread ) Well I didn't, but if they do rest easy, fair Spiderweb, for we shall battle them with delicious fruity cocktails! Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
We probably would (well, certain people anyway), but, you know, the boards have to stay family-friendly. Dikiyoba. The Moderator board?
Magnificent Ornk nikki.
The Moderator board? But that excludes people like me, and I'm very clearly vocal in my support for alcohol. Like these? ...what have you done, Sir? (Okay, they look good, sure, like those.)
Understated Ur-Drakon Tyranicus
Discussions on the mod board remain family-friendly, actually, except when discussing non-family-friendly posts that we have had to edit of course. Well-Actually War Trall Harehunter
With food, alcohol, ponies and puns, all things in moderation. ( I am trying to be good.) (Personally, I have no aversion to ponies. And that some members have chosen ponies for their avatars does not classify as contributing to the pony-ness of a discussion.) Ineffable Wingbolt BMA
Discussions on the mod board remain family-friendly, actually, except when discussing non-family-friendly posts that we have had to edit of course. I had imagined otherwise, seeing that there is no real reason for being family-friendly in the mod board unless of course it includes under-aged members, which is no longer the case. Just a thought. Understated Ur-Drakon Tyranicus
There is no particular rule about requiring it to be family-friendly, but there is no reason for it not to be. Very little discussion about anything other than board business happens on the mod board.
Easygoing Eyebeast Triumph
As long as the peasants behave themselves, long chunks of time pass where nothing happens on the mod board. It seemed to rather busy in the aftermath of the great migration, but since then it's tapered off.

Not entirely true, and you'd be surprised how quickly talking about tea and quilting can go downhill. —Alorael, who also thinks you wouldn't believe some of the mod flame wars. Oh, sure, there's a united front presented to the world, but some of them don't believe that Kate Beaton's fat pony is best pony! Well-Actually War Trall Actaeon
Not entirely true, and you'd be surprised how quickly talking about tea and quilting can go downhill. You could share the tea conversation a bit. I actually know something about THAT beverage.
Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
...but some of them don't believe that Kate Beaton's fat pony is best pony! Dinohippus is best pony! You could share the tea conversation a bit. I actually know something about THAT beverage. Well, it's actually not so much a discussion about tea so much as snobbishly proclaiming our superiority while sipping tea. Dikiyoba is trying to get a sprinkler system installed in every forum but the Mod Board so we can be warm and dry while being snobbishly superior during tea while the rest of you are stuck in the cold and wet, but so far no go. Well, the tree of liberty must be watered from time to time with the spam of mods and posters, doesn't it? It really doesn't seem like there's enough tea in the harbor lately... Easygoing Eyebeast The Mystic
Like these? I couldn't help but notice the first cocktail on the list. There's a drink named for me? They shouldn't have! Seriously, though, they really shouldn't; I don't drink that much in general to warrant it, let alone the ingredients listed.
