Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer Posted August 28, 2013 Share Posted August 28, 2013 vDiplomacy has more variant maps and starting conditions for games. webDiplomacy used to have only 3 maps (standard Europe, Ancient Mediterranean, and World), but has now added a few more that were available at vDiplomacy. vDiplomacy when you first join limits you to how many different games you can play at once until you have played there for enough game phases. They also keep track of how often you miss entering orders (missed turns) for a reliability rate and how many game phase you have played so other players get an idea of how long you have been around and if you are likely to drop out. It offers a lot of minor tweaks, and it handles civil disorder better, to boot. I'm glad to encourage any new players; I dream of someday doing a proper live game.
