selecting and starting scenarios??????????

Recommended Posts

Help! I'm stuck. I downloaded a BoA scenario 'Crescent Valley' after starting the default starting scenario. when i start the game, when the main menu appears, and i try to enter the Crescent Valley scenario, it won't let me enter.

What exactly are the steps to be able to select another scenario AFTER already the initial default one has started?

I'm completely STUMPED!!!!!

Also after you download it you need to uncompressed the file and transfer the scenario to the folder called Blades of Avernum Scenarios.

You need to load a party that isn't in a scenario or create a new party. You can save it under any name or directory with Blades.

You started Valley of Dying Things, but it doesn't sound as though you ever finished. If you had, you'd save right after completing, and then enter another scenario.

Fortunately, if I remember correctly, you can just walk your party out of the scenario (to the south) to exit. Then follow the usual instructions to enter Crescent Valley.

Alternatively, just create a new party and use that to enter Crescent Valley instead of Valley of Dying Things.

also, 2012. Might have been easier to ask Kel, as he is around still.

also, you know, there is a (working!) link to Kel's Pink and Pretty Page, in his signature, in this very thread.
