Easygoing Eyebeast Schrodinger
I had problems downloading using internet explorer. I eventually had to use Netscape to get it. This was about four years ago, so I don't know if it's still a problem.
Well-Actually War Trall Custer
You use Moz, don't you, Dingy? Netscape is abjectly awful.
Easygoing Eyebeast Schrodinger
Right now just IE. I'm not sure if Mozilla was out back then in summer '00- isn't it a more recent creation?
Well-Actually War Trall Custer
Might be, but it is now. I'd get it if I were you -- it has all sorts of nifty features, and it's a lot more stable.

Easygoing Eyebeast Morgan
Alec, it also takes an age to start up (compared with other browsers). Waiting for it to boot up was my memory of using Mozilla: Firebird.
Kyshakk Koan Lord Sylak
Mozilla is really quick to start up when you have it in the quicklaunch mode- anyone who disables quicklaunch should be hit upside the head, because you can't renable it. but all-in-all Mozilla is better than IE. Firebird dosen't have a quicklaunch though, but it's fast internet speed makes up for that.
Easygoing Eyebeast Morgan
I use a mixture of Safari and Internet Explorer. I only use Internet Explorer for sites heavily dependant on Java or ftp addresses. Safari plain sucks for either of those.
Garrulous Glaahk Misc Staple
Browsers: I use IE, and Netscape when I need it. DL Trouble: I probably got no trouble with Nethergate, because it was on a CD. However, the rest of Spidweb's games; (E1-3, A1-3, Galactic Core) I downloaded off with FTP and HTTP, and had no problem.
