Understated Ur-Drakon Tyranicus
With Lion dropping support for PPC binaries, I'm curious if anyone is working on making a universal binary of BoE. I haven't done any real coding in years, so no, I am not volunteering.
Well-Actually War Trall Niemand
I haven't actually been helping out with the BoE code in some time (so an authoritative answer from Celtic Minstrel may be more useful), but it looks like the bulk of the work is already done. (BoE was better prepared for this than the BoA editor since it already expected to deal with files of either endianness.) It looks like about the only thing left to do is thrown the switch and tell the compiler to build for i386 as well as ppc (which I've already done in my working copy, more or less). Understated Ur-Drakon Celtic Minstrel
I was building it for i386 as well as ppc when I worked on it. I suppose Lion is a good reason to finally come back to it and get some work done... need to build the wxWidgets dialog framework...
Understated Ur-Drakon Tyranicus
So, Lion is out now. Has there been any progress on this?
Understated Ur-Drakon Celtic Minstrel
The latest builds were universal binaries, but they were also unstable. So I suppose that's a "no".
