A3: Crystal Charm not working...

Okay, I'm not sure what's going on here, but my lead warrior keeps getting turned to stone by basilisks despite wearing a crystal charm. I thought they fully protect them from petrification? Is there something else I'm not taking into account here or is it a bug?

They don't offer complete protection. They just offer more, and not actually that much more from what I've noticed.

It seems that crystal items work better in the earlier games.

 

Also, try increasing your Luck skill.

Yeah, definitely increase your luck, and try to kill all the basilisks very fast.

 

Haste all your party and then have every party attack the basilisks.....even your mage and priest, have them attack with smite or firebolt or whatever. Or you could also have your priest cast the Protection spell...I forget what it's called. The one with the shield anyways.

Try storing them in your soul crystal if you've got one because they're useful to have.
