Try searching around the forums before asking. Anyway, here it is:

And use F3 for quicksave, and F4 to load the quicksave.

That's an unofficial editor. Geneforge doesn't have an official character editor the way the Avernum series does. That editor might or might do what you want it too.

I think it may be a good idea to add that all such editors are "use at your own risk." Back up any zone scripts you plan to copy an editor over, and any saved games you plan to alter with said editor. That way, if something goes wrong, you still have the original files.

Yes, the topic I redirected to does have a *USE AT YOUR OWN RISK* warning. But yes, it is unofficial, and always back up your scripts.

 

And I may of been thinking of the Avernum quicksave shortcuts.

I figured there would be some kind of warning on the page, and just thought that an extra word of caution might be handy. I don't use editors anymore, especially since they crashed my copy of G1, G2, and A4, all of which had to be reinstalled, even after restoring the original files.

 

I don't know the quicksave shortcuts, since I don't use those either (though in this case, I simply don't bother).

it's f9 and f10 for the older games. At least up to g2 as far as I know, but again, haven't played in forever.
