They were just put into the older games too. —Alorael, who doesn't really understand the appeal of the older graphics besides nostalgia. E3 is very pretty. I remember Exile 1 having completely different graphics and a combat system that allowed only 1 movement at a time. Then when I bought the trilogy CD, the graphics were updated to exile 2 standards. The v1.0 graphics had a smaller set of PC icons and were missing a few other things, but otherwise were very similar to the standard Exile 1 graphics -- those are the "Exile 2 standard" graphics, which in fact predate Exile 2.
