Well-Actually War Trall Acky
I'm having a very weird problem I've not encountered before. I've recently cleaned out my scenario folder (deleting them all save the tutorial and the 4 default scenario's) When I tried downloading a scenario and putting it in only one folder, it worked fine. When I run BoA however, the scenario's I've downloaded don't come up; it's as if I never downloaded them in the first place. However, three scenario's (HLPM, Warp, and TTFUD 2) come up fine. Its the multiple new ones that aren't showing up. Does anyone have any clue as to what the problem is? I've already checked and there's only one scenario folder on my computer, so I know its not loading anything from anywhere else.
Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
One problem, the list of available scenarios is drawn up the moment BoA starts. It is not altered while BoA remains running, it is never refreshed. There might be a problem with Mac v Windows, apart from that I don't know. Well-Actually War Trall Acky
I'm sorry, but could you be more clear? BoA wasn't running when I was putting the scenario's in the folder, if that's what you were talking about.
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
I had a problem like this once. Try taking all the scenarios out of the scenarios folder, deleting the scenarios folder and recreating it, then putting the scenarios back in. Understated Ur-Drakon Celtic Minstrel
Wouldn't it be easier to rename the scenario folder, recreate it, then move all the scenarios to the new folder?
Easygoing Eyebeast keira
Maybe you had a extra folder in there somewhere nesting things so BoA can't recognize them. I dunno if Blades searches recursively for scenarios or not.
Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
Change of topic. You can only have 30 scenarios recognized by the game at once, the first 30. You get no choice on which ones are displayed. Scenarios you don't want displayed could have their folder names prefixed with a 'z'.
Understated Ur-Drakon Nioca
40. 40 scenarios at once.
Understated Ur-Drakon Celtic Minstrel
Or you could just have a second scenario folder for the ones you don't want to be displayed.
Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
It is 40 too. Prefixing the scenario folder names, means you only have to hit F2 to edit the names.
