Tenderfoot Thahd SENSEJ
Hi everyone. I'm very sorry for my bad eanglish. I'm from ukraine. Exile 3 is one of my favourite RPG games for PC, But I play not for a long in E3. I cleaned up goblins lair and bandits lair in upper Exile. Will anybody in Upper Exile pay any reward for this or not? Thank you!
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
The goblin/bandit lair is a training area to get you familiar with combat. There is a strange idol hidden in the lair that is wanted by a Vahnatai in the nearby town.
Easygoing Eyebeast The Mystic
The statue Randomizer mentioned is the only thing you can use to get a reward in the goblin/bandit lair; killing all the goblins, bandits, and wolves will yield no reward except the experience for killing them. Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
Also gold and cheap loot.

Seasoned Roamer Hondero
I forget exactly where it is (maybe in the treasure area of the commander's quarters), but the Shield Mace is a very nice item in this stage of the game. Decent damage and bonus defense without any encumbrance, and only one-handed.
Tenderfoot Thahd SENSEJ
I'll try to find it...
Tenderfoot Thahd SENSEJ
(( i can't open two doors with sign:"LOOT STORAGE" near them on the east of a bandit level. My warrior is 20 str and thief with 20 lockpicking. Maybe it is some secret with this doors?
Understated Ur-Drakon Celtic Minstrel
You need to find where the bandits keep their wolves. It'll be a dead end with a white circle, I believe.
Tenderfoot Thahd SENSEJ
i found a wolf keeps. And so..?
Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
There's a secret passage in one of the walls of the wolf pen. Get used to running into walls. It's essential to completing many quests. I wish it wasn't, but many disagree with me.
Easygoing Eyebeast The Mystic
I highly recommend getting the level 4 mage spell Magic Map; it can help you find many (though not all) walls you can walk through.
Understated Ur-Drakon Celtic Minstrel
There's another spell that can help – Far Sight, I think it's called? But Magic Map is better.
Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
In Exile it's called True Sight. It's a level 1 mage spell that lets you see the 5x5 square of terrain around the caster, thus letting you see through walls.
Understated Ur-Drakon Celtic Minstrel
Oh wait, "Far Sight" is the Avernum spell that replaced "True Sight" and "Magic Map", isn't it?
Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
Yes. Jewels's website gets its name from the Exile spell.
Fledgling Fyora Jiang Zu En
Recently restarted playing E3. Does anyone know if there is a point in the goblin lair to kneeling before the altar? There's a white ball encounter in front of it and it tells you something along the lines of "you have the urge to kneel here." I was unable to find anything that happened if I did that...so I'm wondering if one of you found something.
Well-Actually War Trall Omlette
Pretty sure it's irrelevant. Maybe try coming back later and sanctifying it? -E-
Garrulous Glaahk S M Adventurer
However, it's probably best to save before trying to Sanctifying it. Don't want to waste 50 spell points on nothing.
