  1. I do not know why but I first thought the shade you encounter in the first area was sent by Groettsch to spy on you. Furthermore, I have no idea who have sent the roamer in the first area. If there is no explanation, then it's probably just a rogue creation that has wandered off. Yes, I believe in previous games they were only refered to as "outsiders". Yes, I remember in the previous games, Geneforge 1, 2 and 3, or at least one of those, it was mentioned that Terrestia was the second continent the Shapers have conquered. It was so long ago since I've played the first 3 games that I might no longer remember the exact details or wording. However, in the following games this continent was never mentioned again. I remember thinking back then that the rebels did not stand a chance against the Shapers. Can you imagine whole another continent full of them? I've just finished playing Geneforge 1: Mutagen again and the player character does indeed land in Poryphra. Poryphra is a city on the northern coast of eastern Terrestia (GF4). This city is fifty miles (80 km) off from Sucia Island. The player character left from the eastern docks and must have sailed south to reach Poryphra. At least I believe so, because in the tombs on southern Sucia Island (the Shaper Tomb where you can find a servile playing his lute underground), you get a text stating that if you look hard enough to the south you can see the mainland (Terrestia). The Sholai came from the west; Western Sea (which for them would be the Eastern Sea). As they were approaching Terrestia a huge storm forced them to land on Sucia Island. It must have been a storm of continental proportions if they landed on Sucia Island while they were approaching from the Western Sea. They've sailed past the Nodye Coast, the Whitespires, Okavano Fen and maybe even Burwood Province because of this storm to reach Sucia Island. As Sucia Island must be located somewhere north of North Eastern Terrestia. The Sholai landed on the Eastern Docks of Sucia Island because of this storm. And I believe one of them said "they could see Terrestia" as the were approaching from the Western Sea but they landed on the Eastern Docks of Sucia Island because of the storm. I still find it very confusing if not inconsistent. I wish there was a huge map where we can see where the different landmasses are actually located. Then it would be easier to imagine what has actually happen. Furthermore, for the shapers to have completely settled in western Terrestia first, coming from the direction of Sucia Island, then they must have sailed past Burwood Province, the Okavano Fen and the Whitespires to land on the Nodye Coast (the first province settled by the Shapers). Unlikely if you can see the outline of Terrestia south of Sucia Island. An explanation could be that they've landed in Burwood Province and kept it pushing west till they've reached the Nodye Coast. I think that is improbable. I do not like these inconsistencies as it breaks the immersion of the game. I've always loved fantasy world geography.
  2. I've also been waiting for a Character editor😁
  3. Hi Zoro!

I would like to try your fairy mod for Queen’s Wish

  4. So how do I talk correctly to these constructs, because Macaula keeps saying that I did not
  5. I was personally thinking of that unexplored continent the dragon in Ukat mentioned. Torbat, was the name if I remember correctly of the unexplored continent. Maybe the next story will take place there
  6. I see. I bought QW from steam, so steam updated the game for me. Now I have version 1.0.1😁
  7. Hi! I have a question. Is there a way to find out what changes were made in v1.0.1 of Queen's wish?
  8. Nice work with this Editor. I tried it following your rules and everything worked perfectly!
  9. Yeah and many thanks to you!! You've helped me A LOT!! XD
  10. While it did give me lots of resolution it seems I can only use 2 of them the others give the "input out of signal" crap. I'm currently using 1280x720 and while I click apply and then let's say restart my computer I need to go again in AMD catalyst to checks some boxes again to get the resolution I want and it tires me. G5 works only in windows and that is fine for me.
  11. Wait now I got them back I only needed to do somethings. My highest resolution is 1920x1080 XD of course I know my computer cannot handle that but now I can play G5 But how can I save the settings? Every time I start my computer I need to do the same things to get it at the resolution I want. I wish I could screenshot what I mean. Every time I need to go in catalyst and check some boxes about screen resolution and that.
  12. Sadly when I installed it. It went back to the beginning of this problem. I don't have them anymore
  13. Nim do you know a specific place where I can download it? A specific website?
  14. I have news I went and used DDU (clean out and restart) and it removed the amd catalyst. I went to screen resolution and it I GOT A BUNCH OF SCREEN RESOLUTIONS!! XD My highest one being 1600x1200. When I put 1600x1200 it says input out of range while still managing in displaying that resolution after a min my screen goes to sleep. anything under 1600x1200 works tho. When I launched G5 I finally got to choose which resolution I wanted but I didn't click start tho to test it. I'm going to install AMD omega driver and come back with news.
  15. The first option is not an option for me but I guess I'll could try what you suggest about the amd driver. so first... get rid of the old drivers with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller). second download AMD catalyst Omega driver. Am I correct here or do I need to know something more?
  16. I only have a DVI cable connected. And sadly no not even in normal screen resolution can I choose precisely the one I want or maybe the VGA cable is the problem?
  17. Okay this is what happened I went to amd catalyst and found out that I could add a resolution so I added 800x600 and geneforge finally worked but there is a problem I cannot put a resolution higher then 1280x720. I tried adding 1024x768 but there is 2 problem, I cannot put a height higher then 720 and I can only use arrows to change the resolution I want in amd catalyst so that means width can only go on 1120 or 1136. It doesn't let me type the resolution I want so I still can't play G5. I guess I'll go play G1-3 and maybe later try G4 or maybe there is a problem with that too? idk I'll try it soon but G5 I know I cannot play
  18. I tried many times to change it to it's native resolution but it doesn't work. I think that once I did manage and it said out of range or something like that. I don't have a vga cable connected cause I don't have one but I don't think that is the problem So how do I put it to it's native resolution without it saying out of range and that?
  19. Oh and avadon and the remades of avernum does work for me. But I really want to play the geneforges series back they were my first spiderweb games
