Great, thanks for the help everyone. It's really funny, I was going to register a new account to post this but found out I had already registered one. On top of that, the last time I posted was almost five years ago to the date and it was asking for help about Geneforge 2.

Hey everyone, I recently decided to start clearing my Steam backlog and I'm currently on Geneforge 4. I played as an Agent for the first three games, and decided to mix it up and play as a Servile this time around. I was having a great time up until the middle part of Chapter 2, where the groups of rogues are getting way too big and my Daze is only affecting a few of them. I took a screenshot of my character with all of his stat boosting items taken off (I've got the lucky charm in my inventory, and also have the thahdskin tunic, nimble sandals, and the +2 endurance belt): http://imgur.com/a/0bW5W I think the obvious thing is that my mental magic needs to be better, but did I put too many skill points into the melee skills and not enough into strength, endurance, etc? Please let me know what you think.

I'm playing on Normal difficulty. I bought three ranks of battle magic to see if it would affect anything and my accuracy shot up considerably, from about ~25% on that cryodrayk in the Crystal Caverns to about ~55%, so I kept that upgrade.

Hi everyone, I've been playing Geneforge 2 after finishing the first one, and I'm playing an Agent like I did in the first one. But I'm kind of stuck. My spells just aren't hitting bosses or tougher enemies, and when they actually do hit, they don't do very much damage.
