Argh

Today I was feeling rather nostalgic and wanted to play Exile 3 again (I had it on a disc when I was young), so I tried to download the files to install it, but it will not work on my laptop running Windows 7 (32-bit). I have tried compatibility mode, but with no results. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
