I've since run into this problem further into the game. In the Wretch Warrens. Bummer. I've emailed Jeff with details; no word yet. I expect a patch is in the works, and I'm going to put the game aside til then.

Deleting and reinstalling did solve the problem. Again, this was during the tutorial mission, so I didn't bother extracting and restoring my saved game. No idea if that would have made a difference for the worse.

I have the same problem, in the same location. I'm on an iPad 2. I will try reinstalling (hate to lose even 30 min of progress, but hey) and report back. Thanks for the port, Jeff, and I'm sure these bugs will get ironed out over time.
