So I've just killed Redbeard after a long fight, and that got me wondering..
Is the fight so hard because he is meant to be invincible, and he will reappear as the Keeper in the next Avadon, or what?
And it said that many new hands joined at the end, is that when Avadon 2 starts, or many years after?
Just my 2 cents
That may be true, but it wasn't as unique as the other Avernum games.
In my opinion it was about being almost at the center of the earth in an alien land, spelunking, finding creatures, meeting the Vahnatai... etc.
I also wish Jeff would skip A2 and remake Avernum 3 for PC, but thats just me XD

Awww darn!
Was worth a shot
But its better when you've just found an enchanted blade and you don't know what it does, and when your fighting the evil villain of so and so, it does something you didn't expect!

neither do the others actually...
I've been getting the same problem, 403 Forbidden error?
Redbeard's beard is more epic then Chuck Norris.
On a more serious note, no, the Redbeard is difficult, but easy once you get the hang of it, just try again and you'll find something that works, like Lilith said.

Thats what AI is for!
Besides, in most fights they run to get help, use spells, potions, etc themselves.
