  1. Well..I'm the last person qualified to attempt to label herself as "infallible" so it's definitely possible I missed that...or forgot it...or perhaps I was tripping on something. I don't remember it, but because of afore mentioned reasons, that means pretty much nothing. Thanks! ---Zelda

She told me nothing about a secret tunnel. And I explored every thread. Unless this was the lame treasure tunnel she told me about that I paid lots of coins for and got virtually no information for? Like.."Oh..there's lots of tunnels under these caves!! I'm sure there's treasure there!! Look out for the sliths!" Yeah..that was helpful. Here's your 300 coins. Gah. But thanks for letting me know that I've basically completed that quest and I won't get it off my journal until I kill Lysstak. That's pretty much the information I was looking for. I still do think the Kelda encounter is a bug. Very misleading and confusing. Switching notes, I want to say how much I appreciate this forum. Whenever I have a question I'm never left hanging. I get an answer or several very promptly and the answer always helps tremendously. I appreciate the patience of you long timers. And your willingness to help. Much love from ---Zelda
  3. I apologize if I repeat stuff that's already been gone over. One reason that I hate doing searches for answers is that I often inadvertently get way more information than I want. I'm feeling a bit bemused by the Lysstak spy quest. I spoke to Kolata outside the city and found the secret area that he sent me to in the Three Tunnels mine. I found another secret area under the Pick and Axe and when I went back to speak to Pefko, I got dialogue prompts that allowed me to name Kelda as a spy. Problem is..I never got any information from her. I bought up every bit of information that she offered to sell me and there was never any mention of bandits or a secret tunnel. Perko mentioned that she would "watch" Kelda so is there something else that needs to be done here? I'm assuming so since I still have the spy quest in my journal. Or is it that there are more spies that I've missed? I've talked to everyone in town, I believe. If there are more spies..don't tell me whom please..just let me know the general direction to look. (In town, outside of town, in some other town and so on.) Thanks! ---Zelda
  4. Randomizer was right. I went back and tried it again staying in fight mode all the way. Once I got to the gate I left fight mode and then went right back to it. Gate opens. Thanks Dikiyoba and Randomizer. You both rock and roll. Much love to you both from --Zelda
  5. Ok...maybe I have a bug. I position myself right next to the gate and it doesn't open. I suck. ---Zelda
  6. I'm so stuck. I'm in the northwest part of the Northern Isles. I have found a cave guarded by members of the Fang clan. I dispatch them...then move on to explore the cave. There are these horrid fire calderas that are pretty much impossible to get past. After much saving and fighting I manage to make it to the end only to find a locked gate. How do I get past this? I apologize if this question has been asked before and answered. I do honestly search...but I get such an abundance of pages of hits that it's overwhelming. ---Zelda
  7. Yep. Pretty much why you're one of my heros here. Verra good idea! ---Zelda
  8. You know..if you frequent the boards at all..you would have known. The announcement came out on the Spiderweb News page. Which really should have been good enough. No..Jeff didn't start a thread on the forums page, but he does have other things on his plate. I actually knew Averum 5 was up 20 minutes after Jeff released it, and believe me..I'm no computer guru. Take care, --Zelda
  9. Yep..I was actually feeling a wee bit wary when I first saw the weight allowances. But when I realized it was for armor weight and not backpack, I felt muuuch betterer. I also like it that I'm told that certain items can not be sold. I know past games let you sell most everything, but why bother to tote something around that you won't sell for much? Big waste of time. ---Zelda
  10. Once again..different endings. This is why I love Spiderweb. ---Zelda
  11. Downloading as I type. I don't think I'll have much time to play it tonight tho. Ignore my whining. ---Zelda
  12. Since he's already considered and rejected them. Yep. Take care.
  13. Quote: Unfortunately, I keep facing the knight who says, "Nyet!" -S- Find me a shrubbery!! --Zelda
  14. Again, I throw in with Synergy. It's so much fun to get a weapon or spell or whatever that just completely rocks. Obviously you don't expect it to roll over everything...but to have it make an obvious difference..well..it's fun. Because you know you've worked hard to get it. It 's like your dang due!! I've actually never heard anyone complain that they've gotten something that made the game too easy. But to get something special because of your trouble and toil..it's always good. Hope that makes sense. ---Zelda
  15. From your mouth to Jeff's ears, Synergy. The gift of having something special adds to the whole gaming fun. So along with Randomizer, you're pretty much my Nethergate hero guy. May you continue as a knight in shining mauling leather armor. ---Zelda
