I will admit that I was also confused by this until I realized that it was Exile 2 that I had been playing when I was young. Are they planning on remaking all 6 Avernum games in the new engine?

Ok thanks. Do I need the dispel barrier spell to finish this dungeon? I haven't gotten it at all yet. Must have missed it. Also, I've searched for hidden switches and there is nothing Although I can't find this one secret passage which can apparently only be opened from the north? http://www.nat20s.com/Avernum/Avernum%20...yptOfDrath.html According to this map, the top right exit on floor 1 (Down to Exit A) leads to the top right on floor 2 (Up to Exit A). However, when I go down the stairs (Down to Exit A), I end up at the stairs near the lake (Up to Exit . As a result, I can't open any switches that are behind the gate at the upper area (turn wheel to open gate, also opens south gate). As a result, my South Gate is still closed and I can't reach the boat. EDIT: I took some additional screenshots to help show where I am at. Ok so I've encountered these pink cube barriers that I can't get past. Anyone know how to get rid of them? In the Crypt of Drath, I just can't figure out what to do. I've reached the second floor (where the lake is) and I've explored most of the floor. But I can't open the gate that goes to the dock and boat. Also, in the northwest corner where you read the book and demons show up, I can't get past the pink cube barriers there either. Various maps I've found on the internet all show levers to open the gate at the northeast corner, but the gate there is closed for me and I don't know what set of stairs go down to there. I used the northeast stairs going down on floor 1 and ended up next to the two levers on floor 2 (southeast part of the map). Help is much appreciated! Thanks

Well I don't mind the AI fighting with only melee attacks. That's too bad that its been removed. Especially when in a crowded battlefield and the isometric view, it's sometimes difficult to quickly select enemies that are close to your characters.

So I've found that fighting battles against tons of weak enemies has become quite a chore. Is there an option for an auto combat that allows your party to just fight on their own with the AI?

I can't find this cave that I'm suppose to enter to get into chapter 2. The mayor of Formello mentions that it is to the east, but I can't find any cave there to enter. The earthquake has already happened too. The walkthrough just mentions to enter the cave as if it should be obvious, but I can't find it Anyone able to help please?

I'm trying to do that quest for the talking spider where I retrieve its eggs, but I can't get past the "sticky web" barrier. The walkthrough talks about "bathing in a pool" to be able to pass it, but I can't find this pool. Can someone please help me out on this? Thanks!
