What is the trigger to give your group experience then? I did this stuff with G3 so long ago I've forgotten! And that is what I meant, yes editing the zone scripts. Is there an equivilent to G3 code = alter_stat(get_sdf(1,12),1); type thing?

Phew, just beat the game for the first time. Very enjoyable! However, I played as someone with not so much mechanics, and it really hurt with traps and things. Does anyone know where in the data files you can change your current players level and/or stats? I figured out how to change the level of a pre-made character, but how the stats directly?

Actually, I am planning on registering, but I wanted to see if I could finish the game with no land tiles visible. I am at the part where I have to go to the Northwest tunnels and have just killed the agent. I think I will probably finish it within the month. The hard part is not being able to pass rivers, because you can't see the difference between land and water tile.

So do I not need to kill the agent? For some reason I can't find her.

It wasn't really NW... More NE, but I found it anyway. Thanks now I don't have to be slaughtered by the shade and guards.

Do you mean the sewers that are slightly east (like 10-15 steps) of the shade? If so, those are the ones that I came out of...

How do you get to the castle ? I found the secret passage that goes right next to the shade, and I figured out you have to haste to get past it, but how do you get out of the city? Either I die from the guards attacking me or I get to the far gates and I can't open the gate because I'm not strong enough. How do you get to the Castle? ( Oh by the way, since I am playing in the dark, it's rather hard to see things and I might have missed a branch off passage.

Yea, I'm seeing if I can finish the game in the darkness. It's a real challenge. I can't get out of Almaralia. I don't have enough strength to turn the wheels. Is there anyway out? Or is there an extension of the sewers? P.S. Those angry guards are annoying!

I am at the point in the game right after you kill the Vahnatai and come back to Formello and see the shade. Now I am getting the following message: Dialouge Script Error: in line 167 Notice there is a space or two after the colon, making me think something the only problem is a space somewhere. Note that I have not modded any scripts in this game, but I have done other ones so I kinda know what's wrong. Now all I get when I talk to people is a blank. No words or anything. All I see is that I am able to exit the conversation. My real question is where is the Dialouge script? Is it in the save game or is it in the script folder? If so, which one is it. If anyone is having problems like this or can help, please reply. (Oh, and I'm just playing demo, but >>was<< planning on getting the full game)

Well it doesn't go away or anything when I go to a different sector. And there really isn't a space in line 167, except if(gf(40,11) > 0) xxxxxxxxx^ ^ here and here. It's kind of silly. I am thinking about just going to the castle in the darkness and getting the wand, or however you do it, and making that little thread come true. If that doesn't work, Ill just reinstall A4 hoping that will fix it. If a mod or someone knows what's up please help.
