  1. It's working for me. ON TORMENT MODE + I have 1 dexterity and level 31 has about 190 hp. and I have to say on torment mode, few places are really hard but you should be about to avoid damage with dexterity, wards, and strategy. I finished TORMENT MODE Avernum 5 with 1 dexterify so its possible but this version is much much harder. ALSO: I really did wish avernum would have skribbane and Augmented health potions again. I also believe that avernum needs to have the wands, potions, and scrolls much much stronger, Its really useless junk on torment. Invurn. potion is the best imo.
  2. I restarted my old game and made a new groups of characters with the character creation exploit made them primarily based with Bows and had dexterity. Later I changed them from pure Bow/Throwingwep characters to a melee, priest, mage and a character with dexterity (nearly pure dexterity).
  3. Of course, I am giving him additional information about stats. He knows how to turn skill points to 1 and switch between them. I think he knows how to do it.
  4. Yuppers, That's how I change the stats of the characters. I got a level 31 with 53 dexterity.... and other stats are one. Its really good to use... Plus you can buy skill points to add more bonuses after you reach 10 to the stats that have a maximum of 10. For instance, All of my characters got 12 Sharpshooter. GREAT FIND ALEX!!!! ! !
  5. Go east (bottom right corner of your screen) look at the walls and you will see a button there.
  6. @Lilith I can help them by knowing that there are a hand full of bugs that exist in this game that I've exploited and it should inspire them to reproduce it. So I now since they know, and that includes you too, FIND OUT HOW TO DO IT! I dangle the carrot and the rabbits jump for it... So JUMP!
  7. @Slartibus you should try it and see if I am trolling or not. This bug I found out when I discovered that I was in some tomb in vanhanti land and then I was cursed with the lightning spell. I then used the teleporter and then tried to find a glitch with the teleporter. Instead I teleported with no hp and could not die. I repeated it again with the hidden illness that started in that land after the 2nd chapter. And found other ways to reproduce it. I think that this should happen if you only let one character lead and die with a rotting/slow killing effect. This has happened to characters 1 and 4 only for me, however I need to practise with this bug more.
  8. UNLIMITED HEALTH BUG REVEALED ! ! ! Okay I will tell you how to have unlimited health and spell points for the main character (Character #1). 1. Let the primary character get ill or lightning spell or poison damage that is consuming the health slowly. Once this character is damaged like this then you must continue to wait by holding space bar or walking (in town mode) on a locked door or something. 2. The character should scream but you will still have the character active. (Please remember to hold space bar key in non-combat mode/Town-mode or else your character will DIE) 3. The health should looked fully consumed and the spell bar should be full and you should not take any damage from any source! ~~WARNING: ANY HEALING WILL TURN OFF THIS EFFECT, Avoid healing Avoid regeneration AVOID FIRST AID stats (or remain in combat mode and interrupt the healing of first aid) No eating any food No combat allies that heal **ANY BLESSINGS WILL NOT BE ADDED TO YOU CHARACTER AFTER DEATH (bless before death) WARDS AND CLOAK (BEFORE DEATH) ARE OKAY! **Your character will be hit but no damage will be dealt at all. This is very good for tough bosses or annoying baddies. **Your character will be able to use multiple battle spells with no fatigue WHATSOEVER If you need any help with this bug please let me know. Slatibus please don't call me a troll again once you try this bug (Should it succeed). PLEASE VERIFY THIS BUG SOMEONE! ~LATERZ
  9. I've played this game alot so there's 3 bugs that I know and they're really good. one is new for this version of avernum and the rest are old... (meaning that the bugs can be exploited for previous games too!) BTW Slartibus, you really can't scare me and I don't care if it confuses other customers because what I want them to do is to WORK for it... if a bug exists in any game they should LEARN to exploit it.

  11. Hey John welcome to this forum. Haha. I will say this... There is a way to dual wield a spear, halbred, or broadsword with a normal sword or shield. Study The games mechanics and find out how to exploit it.
  12. These are glitches that the game creator left for us to exploit... It's normal. I do not edit the files man....I wont tell them because i KNOW that they will be patched.... I do not mislead and I will not reveal them... YOU find it out...
  13. Correction dual weilding A spear and another spear can not be done.. BUT you can weild Spear and regular sword or Spear and shield. Hope this helps!

  16. @Jerakeen, It is unfair because having a stat gain strength in a weapon and 20% CTH is very unfair if at level 1 you have about 17 dexterity and a bow!!!
  17. but what if you removed the 2 and made it a 1 and then you mofidified it. Is there even a way to make you stats 1? even with the SHIFT + D CHEAT? Makes you wonder....
  18. Well... I will say this. when you begin the game as CUSTOM. and once you advance with trait points. Those trait points may be used to modify your stats. I have found another bug as well. I really don't like saying it because of "fixes". This may or may not be real.

  20. Just to show one of my Elite Characters. I found out that using dexterity not only reduces the chance of a character from being hit but also increases Bow Damage. This unfair advantage made choose 51 dexterity for my primary character which the NPCs aim at first. Notice the other stats are 1 in figure 1. and her Dexterity is clearly above the maximum. which is 51 but hers is 52. Having 78% armour on Torment mode still is like paper armour when fighting monsters and especially BOSSES. However I kill monsters using strategy and no potions, scrolls, or any of that useless junk. QUESTIONS TO ANSWER + TODO: Let's talk and I may not check this post, because logging in this forum is pretty hard for me. and I did not use any SHIFT + D cheats or anything but "manipulation"......... QUESTIONS 1. Does any one know how I did this??? 2. DID YOU FIND any other bugs??? TODO 1. Show me your characters if you feel up to it...
  21. Wow, When i get home ill try screwing with these codes.. wow Avernum is actually being decoded one by one from the users... lmao! This may be the final stepping stone for vogel to re-work/reformat his codes and his approach to them. Great find guys and thx twilight for the tip. hey "Crisis on inf." please besure to credit twilight and anyone else who helped with these codings. I'm sure they will approve it.
  22. How is adding disease to Avernum 6 good. Well I think that Vogel can introduce roaches and rats with this disease primarily. Also using cursed swords could either be stuck to the opponent or slowly drain a stat or statistic. A cursed sword may also be removed with a time delay. A cursed sword can also benefit the wielder by increasing their stats. Anyways, who here thinks that its possible to modify the game to add disease without reprogramming with a compiler. I'm pretty sure its not possible. DO YOU THINK ADDING DISEASE OR CURSED WEAPS. TO AVERNUM 6 IS POSSIBLE?
  23. What's so special about wave blades you ask? Well... You can not wield 2 waveblades because it is "too heavy". This is most likely a mechanism that the editor of Av6 did to make melee weaps powerful but not over powerful. Eiither that or my character has waaay low str for 2 waveblades. But I'm pretty sure that there was going to be a disadantage to duel wield. So far it owns..... I still wonder if my dream was just a dream....
  24. yesterday I dreamed of me wielding a spear and a shield. and then dreamed of me being a slith holding a spear and a sword (not a wave blade! O.M.G. WAS THIS DREAM REAL OR NOT?!?! Can this really happen. If so please lemme know. BTW I'm finally playing avernum 6 and it owns!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TY Vogel... now let's see how the storyline is. EDIT: Btw: What's like best duel wield that you would want on avernum? (Answer if u wanna idc.) My best weaps "dream weaps" would be wielding two blood slith spears from avernum 5 or two steel halbreds!
  25. WOW, i have to say that the ambidexterious style of A6 is soooooooo nice!!!! I remeber on exile 1 and 2 - I mauled most enemys with duel weapons!!!!! Mr. Vogel! I'm so glad you added that option! NOW I beg that you may please add assassination (I know repel and repositle esp. is sorta like it! but i miss that skill badly!), limited or save spots (or limited or non-dungeon/bad area save spots), disease and hard final battle or a way to continue to kill hard monsters and level (such as an extra large map like %50 more area when the game is complete. This is prefered to me because its needed to keep the game play going after the end of the game/storyline) !!!! It's only fair!!!! AND PLEASE PLEASE MAKE the levelsand enemies waaay harder than avernum 5! Now I'm not a huge critic, but I love you games alot esp your avnm series. It takes me like months to complete it. Soz for the beg and noobish attitude but to me... avernum 2 skills maul avernum 4's and 5's, although a1 and a2 were not that balanced because magers owned all...
