i got sound problem fixed but i still have a problem where when i close a info box in the game, the game will freeze... any help here?

LISTEN!!! ill start Avernum 3, ill get to the menu and ive got music and everything! ill start a new game and ill have no music at all... it doesn't matter wether i load a game or start a new one i just wont have any sounds past the point in which i started the game... and im re-downloading now...

an update... I only have sound problems when im IN the game... the menu and all that stuff has perfect sound at first... then when i play and come back to that no sound! this is real strange... someone help PLZ!

actually i dont know which edition it is... and i do have sounds turned on...

Ive got the latest Direct X drivers... and im kinda sure i have the latest drivers...

IS SOMEONE GONNA HELP ME OR AM I GONNA BE STUCK WITH NO SOUND ON AVERNUM 3 FOREVER???

Uhh... Ive got Windows XP Home Edition... and i dont have any sounds at all when i play Avernum 3... i dont have this problem on Geneforge... just avernum. HELP! can you tell me how to fix this?
