Glad you've enjoyed the games! I'm only just playing through A:EftP myself for the first time! I don't know if it's still the case, but last week on GOG you could get all of the original Avernum games pretty cheap. I'd like to play the remake of the second game myself, but will have to see how long it takes me to get through the first before then!

Thanks for the welcome and reply! I'll have a go at what you've suggested once I've finished my first run through - will probably take a while! Would be great to find more ways to save time so will definitely have a look!

Is this something that you ever explored any further? I'm playing through the game for the first time now but would be interested in a speed run in the future! Especially as it seems as though it hasn't been done much at all!
